Printelligent & LaserSharp Announce Merge
Merge Expands Offering to LaserSharp ClientsSalt Lake City, Utah — October 30, 2007— Mark Crosby, president and CEO of Printelligent - an HP Gold and SVIP Elite Business Partner, and premier provider of a Managed Print Solution - announced the merge of Printelligent and LaserSharp.
LaserSharp provides supplies and service/repair to small businesses along the Wasatch Front. Printelligent offers a Managed Print Solution to medium-to-large businesses handling all aspects of printer fleet management, freeing IT staff to handle higher priorities. Printelligent has offices in several regionalized locations, including Salt Lake City (headquarters), Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta. Printelligent recently combined three Utah locations into one headquarters office. At the same time, the two companies merged to benefit LaserSharp clients and improve bottom-line profits.
"It made sense to combine operational functions of both companies," said Crosby. "LaserSharp customers now benefit from increased service offerings and can purchase HP multifunction printers from Printelligent."
All functions of both companies are merging with no loss of employees or service offerings. LaserSharp customers have come to appreciate a personal touch while conducting business, and it will continue with the added bonus of an increased service offering. The newly merged companies will function under the Printelligent brand.
Printelligent's Managed Print Solution is provided through a service agreement authorizing Printelligent to manage the customer's printer fleet. Additionally, customers learn how to save even more time and money by investing in HP's multifunction devices instead of expensive copiers or single-purpose copiers, fax machines or scanners.
